Last fall Sean and his family decided to head out to the Alvord Desert in Southeast Oregon. The Alvord Desert has long been on his list of places to explore, and when a few free days opened up in the fall, they decided to check it out.
The last 40 miles of the trip were on a very dusty and washboard gravel road. They located the entrance to a huge dried lake bed; after driving along the sides, they found a spot and set up the Opus.
They visited the local town for burgers and shakes and found the local hot springs. After lunch, they got curious and tried to tow the OP15 up a very steep and rough dirt path.
